The latest issue from the Perth Mint, is the 1/2 Troy ounce (15.55 grams) silver coin of the Lunar Series. This year concerns the 'Year of the Tiger', taken from the Chinese zodiac which consists of twelve animals.
The Perth Mint strikes these silver coins in BU (Brilliantly Uncirculated) condition. The silver content of the coin is 99.99%, making the silver Lunar like many other coins minted in the highest possible grade of pure silver.
